They'll grow back in a few days, but until then I just have little fluffs. Do you want to pet them?

I also benefit from having them petted because regrowing the feathers is itchy, by the way.

[ stretches his lil winglets out! they are mostly the really small soft feathers with a handful of pin feathers already growing in ]

If you hit something hard or sharp don't panic, that's just how feathers grow in.
