So...to explain. In our world we don't have quirks. We have magic and signature spells... People can be different levels of proficient in elemental magic, but most strong mages have what's known as a signature spell. A type of magic unique to that mage. So, in a sense, that is our equivalent. What we have that your world doesn't is the idea of "overblot". If there is too much negative energy or emotions....or we overuse our magic...we can go, essentially, magically berserk. Overblot can lead to death. And once you've overblotted, you are more prone to blot in the future.

Mhmm. I've overblotted before...so have Vil and Jamil though I don't think they know that... So, if I need to use my signature spell, I'll try to aim for a contract.

To put it simply? I can do it without a contract, it's just safer for me to get a contract, but... I can take other peoples' abilities for myself.

Let's see...who else is here... Ah! One of the other students here has a body puppeteering ability. He can use it on multiple people at once. Another has the ability to control minds...hypnosis. He can also use it on multiple people at once.

Mm, the students who are here are the ones with some of the most useful abilities. Jade has truth compulsion and Floy can make others abilities misfire.

I do wish we had access to Riddle's ability...but I am glad for his sake that he isn't here.
