HAWKS PALACE

The process of entering the palace is... smooth. Painless.

You are falling, but it's not scary at the speed you're going. You drop through the pre-dawn sky like a feather, light and easy on a breeze, descending towards a bright and multicolored island in a sea of dark trees.

When you land, you are somewhere new.

Which color cup should we pick?

"Um... blue?"

Good choice, I love blue.

[Making a beeline straight for the blue teacup then]

He toddles along happily! The lineups are short because this park is magic.

There's a red feather stuck to one of the seats...

[Carefully picking up that feather before having a seat]

You experience... a memory!

You're very young. Maybe five or six. You're sitting at a table in a dimly lit underground room, and on that table is a puzzle. Your hands are in oven mitts; you're not uncomfortable, but you can't use them for anything delicate right now.

Two people in suits are monitoring this test - it's not easy for you to exercise this level of delicate control, but with some effort you can put this puzzle together using only the feathers off your wings, which you control with your mind.

Your time is noted and recorded. Neither seems especially impressed.

You ask if you can try again.

It fades.

You're definitely hanging out with the same baby from that memory but you guessed that already.

...do we want to spin fast?

"Yeah! Yeah!!"

Then let's turn the wheel with all our might, hmm?

"I'll work really hard."

He has a very serious face about it.

Just have fun.

[And with that, Azul will spin the wheel very quickly, but not so quickly the boy can't help or might get too dizzy]

He FOCUSES VERY HARD to help spin the wheel but he is so light that when it spins fast enough it spins him a bit as well.

Which is just bonus fun really! He seems to enjoy it. Cute baby ride for babies.

[W-whoops, keeping a careful eye on that until the ride stops]

Was it fun?

He bounces! He seems fine.

"It was fun!"

Where should we go next then? Another ride? A game, perhaps?

"I'm not good at the games... what do you want to do?"

Do you want to go to a gift shop then? We can get something fun.

"Ohhh... we could do that."

[Holds out his hand again]

Then let's go see what they have.

"I think they have hero dolls."

He attaches to your hand like a little barnacle.

This place does love a theme.

[Heading for the nearest gift shop]

Is that what you would like?

"Hmm... well... I already have one, but I let someone borrow it..."

Mm, we'll get them one of their own then. Who did you lend it to?

"Um, someone needed to stay in my house... so I let him keep my Endeavor doll."
