The process of entering the palace is... smooth. Painless.

You are falling, but it's not scary at the speed you're going. You drop through the pre-dawn sky like a feather, light and easy on a breeze, descending towards a bright and multicolored island in a sea of dark trees.

When you land, you are somewhere new.

He clings and flaps his little wings on the descent! This doesn't slow the fall at all, but there's no fall damage in this palace.

The gamerunner stares with like a vacant customer service smile.

Yes. I'm the world's most skilled elephant interpreter.

Their stare gets more vacant by the moment.

"Of. Of course! We don't discriminate here at Hero Land! Please, step right up!"

[ he leads the elephant over ]

WELL... THE ELEPHANT BREAKS THE STRENGTH TESTER.

"C... congratulations! You've beaten the high score!"

[ pats the elephant's trunk ]

He's been sated. He's proven himself. I knew you had it in you.

"O-of course!"

kinda familiar? in that you are sort of carrying around a living baby version of this plush.

[ He'll go lift the him off of his shoulders so he can get down and take a look ]

He picks up a plush version of himself and goes :O about it.

[ pats him on the shoulder and turns to the carnival game runner ]

Hey. Can you watch the elephant a minute? Let him exult in his glory and don't remind him he's over the height limit for rides.

[ Crouches back down to talk to the kid ]
