ASSASSINATION
A younger looking Hawks enters an office, where an older man is freaking out - he's got clouds of some sort of weird smoke wafting off him. He turns when Hawks enters and points accusingly at him. He says that all his men have been taken in. He says that all his plans were ruined. He says that YOU, HAWKS, promised that you'd help.
Hawks says, 'Well, I'm helping someone!'. The feathers in his wings glow and then in an instant the air around the man is filled with them, pointing at him from every angle, so close he couldn't move without running into them. They look sharp.
Hawks goes on to say that this man is under arrest and that it would be best if he came quietly. His plans are done, his organization is done, it's over. And for a moment it looks like the man is about to give up, and then -
And then he SCREAMS, and the clouds billowing off him intensify and start to fill the room. The man says he's NOT beaten. His plans may be ruined but he is going to KILL the spy who ruined him before he goes down. And once he's done that he's going to go on and kill more. And he's going to make sure everyone knows whose fault it i-
Hawks' expression changes. His cocky grin drops. Underneath there's nothing, just a sort of dead-eyed resolve, and before the man is even done screaming he drops, dead on the floor, a primary flight feather through his throat.
Hawks sighs and makes a call. He asks for cleanup. After a beat his brows furrow and he says, 'well, I had to try'.
