more horrible abuse
This is basically just what his life was like.
Takami Sr. comes home and catches him outside the house on the road, grabs him, hauls him home and like, literally dropkicks him and starts screaming at him about like, why are you outside, who were you trying to sell me out to, what are you planning!!
Keigo says he thought someone was in trouble, because his feathers were tingling, but they stopped, so he turned around and came home, and nobody saw him.
His dad calls him a liar and kicks him more and demands that he never leave the house, then his mom interrupts them by saying that the TV doesn't work anymore. Dad turns on her and starts yelling at HER to find him a new job (read: crime), then, and Keigo pitter patters away, only to be booted AGAIN by his dad because he's in the way. Then his dad angrily rants about how if TOMIE HAD NEVER GOTTEN HERSELF KNOCKED UP he wouldn't be in this position and IF THAT LITTLE BRAT HAD NEVER BEEN BORN he could still be FREE AS A BIRD while mom begs him not to leave.
The memory ends with him finding an out of the way place and hugging his Endeavor doll.
